How do Micro CHP boilers work?  The latest Micro CHP boilers run on gas and the gas burners also power an internal Stirling Engine which moves a piston inside a ring of magnets. This generates electricity in a similar way to how a car alternator works so while the boiler is generating heat and hot water, it is also producing FREE electricity.
